TRA Level 7 - Relic #2: The timed run

thanks i watched the vid and got it first go.

For some reason i get the relic but it doesnt appear in my inventory and i went to the statue and i still had only two iron bars. Anyone else experience this?

In the video in the last pillar with lion heads i have blockers between them, unlike you. There is a ring on one of them but am unable to hook it.. will do some more tries but am not really finding this fun. Just repetitive and damn boring...

You must stand on the right edge to get to hook the ring, you can't do it on the left one. I had the same problem.

how do you not trigger the checkpoint cus its annoying having to go back to the other place all the time?

If you pause immediately after flipping the switch and save your game there, then you will be able to load your game if you mess up. This saved me many times when I fell in the water on my way over there. Because there is a checkpoint at the switch you will start there when you load your saved game and then all you have to do is flip the switch before starting your timed obstacle course to the retrieve the relic.

the saving system in this game is one main reason for me to uninstall it. I can't stand checkpoint based savegames. They tend to mess your gameplay.
