  • There is no real answer other than the one you believe in. Meaning that truth comes down to the individual, it can be anything. Whether its something thats about to happen or has already, its what you believe in this moment that matters. So in that sense life is eternal.

  • Its nice or not nice depending on your point of view to see so many different views on what may or may not happen after we die.

Eternal life:On the one hand its not nice because if we live eternal then what could an eternal being discuss or discover afterwards when all knowledge has been learnt.

On the other hand.Eternal contentment and love is a pretty good deal.

    So many variables

  • That's pretty deep, Picard. Well done.

  • Perfect answer

  • No no one dies because they are always alive in the people's memories. My memory is far superior to many human beings; I know that my beloved dead are alive inside my mind and soul. I cannot make a judgement about what all this means. I agree with Picard that my understanding is not as advanced as my creator and my reality is beyond my understanding.

  • ahhhhh....Eric Satie playing in the background

  • He said in a few words what I have come to believe. A reality beyond the understanding of what can be measures with science.

  • @Aegrim you are free to belive that, but you have no proof of that.

sure you might be right, and your view of it does seem to requite the fewest assumptions, but just because you pass accume's razor, doesn't mean you are right.

for all we know, we could be a complex computer game, and when we die, the player gets a "game over" msg, and floats away trying to catch the bus on his way back home from school.

  • They have Erik Satie Gymnopedie in the background :D

  • @Aegrim How do you know?
