"So how long have you been friends with Demi?" Nick asks out of the Blue.

I laugh. "Since we were 7."

"Cool," he laughs.

"You really were not headed out to get food were you?"

"Nah. I was.. Uhh.."

I put my hand up stopping him. "I get it." I wink.

"Well if youre hungry..." He trails off rolling his head to me.

I giggle. "Sure."

"Sure what?"

"Sure I'll go get a bite to eat with you." I smile.

"Oh...Cool." He coos.

I giggle again. "Youre kind of weird, you know that right?"

He puts his around my shoulder. "It's an act. If you act dumb, people think less of you, and expect you to do less." He winks.

"Oh I get it." I laugh. "I should try that in Math Class."

"You should, it works wonders." He chuckles.

"You're alright Nick." I smile and lay my head on his shoulder.

I hear a smile form on his face. "Thanks..."

I smile bigger. I must say Demi is lucky. So many cute boys surround her all day. But yet she complains... I think I am going to visit more often...

I pull way from Joes hug and look at him.

He looks me in the eyes and smiles. "I promise you that." His hot breath hits my breath.

I hug him tight. "Thank you."

He hugs back. "No problem."

I bury my head into his neck.

He whispers in my ear. "He'll never hurt you again. As long as I am around, he will Not come in 100 yards of you. I promise you that Dem."
