Used to buy ex us government telemetry Ampex machines (as well as Honeywell and Univac) and convert to multitrack audio. Fabulous things but technology came from Germany at the end of WW 2, They were years ahead of U.S. and U.K. I think Bing Crosby was the guy that put the money behind creating the Ampex corporation. Nice machine mate.
