It's weird. In the original, Phantom was always easier for me than Kurt Zisa. KZ would take multiple tries to defeat on any level. Yet the Phantom almost never took more than one (after which I learned the Stop trick). But here in Final Mix, I defeated Kurt Zisa in my first try, and lost to the Phantom! O_o
Also, is it me, or does his doom counter restart faster than in the original?

I have this fight on my PS2, and the Phantom is not that strong. Is there a harder difficulty or are you at low levels to make it harder.

about before when I said harder difficulty, I meant harder than Expert Mode, or is that also what you meant, if so what is the harder difficulty called

Yeah, that's what I meant. It's called Proud Mode.
