  • I'm so sorry to hear of Laura's plight. What a truely sad ordeal, but one that is preventable. Calgary needs to get it's act together.

  • Laura; you didn't mention your disability in your video. What is it?

  • This woman is crazy.I was actually at the centre of hope in the summer of 2006 for a few months while she was there. This woman would literally run people over with that damn scooter of hers. She tried to run me over while I was on crutches, and she'd giggle and keep trying. On many occassions she ran over peoples feet, laughing away while she did it.I'm glad she got help, cause the streets of calgary are no place for anyone, but this lady is truely insane. She had her scooter banned numerous times.

  • Laura, thanks for directing me to your video. Your video is powerful. Who can't relate to wanting to come home? And how is it that our expectations to be able to live decently could be unmet? I think that it is a tragedy that Calgary has not looked after her daughter(s) and sons.

  • As the maker of this video I hope it shows that anyone can end up on the street and homeless.
