Did the attacker have the ABILITY to cause grave bodily harm or death? Did the attacker have the Opportunity to cause the same, and DID THE VICTIM FEEL HIS LIFE WAS IN JEOPARDY?? In addition the victim here had the presence of mind to not apply deadly force, but allowed the attacker to retreat.... A COP WOULD HAVE DONE THE SAME THING. Jump out of your car and start swinging at a cop and see if you dont get "drawn on".

I'm fully behind you on this case, however, you should have just shot the guy. Never draw your weapon if you have any hesitation about using it. You will find it easier to defend yourself from a justified killing, than brandishing and assault charges.

The mother of the child and this guy continue to abuse the child, the father has custody and is only tryin to protect him. there is way more to this story and if you just listen to one side of it you are mislead. This Story is not completely true why dont you ask the father of the child for his part.. it might shed some light and truth to whats really going on.
