It is great to see this musical performed again. When I was a youth, about 28 years ago, I performed in this with my youth choir. Of all the musicals I have ever done before or since, this is the one that impacts me most.

In 1977, I was a member of the Original touring company, and although it's over 30 years old, this is still my favorite musical. The following year, I toured with a musical "Can It Be" by Larry Mayfield. The Witness is such a wonderful, beautiful music, and I think that is why it is still being performed all over the world. Thank you for posting these clips.

I'd like to find out where to get the soundtrack - I'm the choir director at my church and would like to consider seriously doing this at Easter this year. I was part of it in my teen years and it truly impacted me for years. I can't watch it or listen to it without crying.

I do this show almost every year with my Drama Camp and we go on tour with it. I've played almost every female part possible- Peter's Wife, Judas Rockette (what we lovingly call the back up singers for his song :) ), and this summer I'm pretty sure I'm going to be Mary.

I had no idea other people actually knew this show. It's ridiculous and very cool. LOVE IT! :)

My dad does this every year. he sets up the lights and the stage and plays in it every year. I hope one year I could flow over to see in live. all i get are shirts

I played Mary in this musical a few years ago. Mary's Song (whatever he says) is still one of my favourite songs.
