I like my insulin pump because it's really small and I can run around with it. I also like that I can swim with it. I just don't like when we have to change it because sometimes it hurts. I have not gone back to shots and don't plan to! Thanks for making me diabetic of the day! You rock!

I am fairly new to my pump (Animas Ping) AND I absolutely love it. Been on it for 8.5 months, I've been Type 1 since 1962. In the past I've had a very difficult problem with severe hypos, BUT since pumping I haven't had one and I now feel when my BG goes into the 50's. There is nothing that I do not like about my pump, NADA.

My son has type 1 diabetes. he gets 4 shots per day. we have been interested in the pump for 1. stop the needle poking 4 times per day. and the freedom eating what he likes as a kid. the only thing we worry about is that he is 5 years old and plays hard with his brothers and we don't want the tube to pop free.

I use the Cleo 90 9mm sets now. But I like the Animas Insets. I use them too, they seem to stick a little better.
