17 December 2010, Fardapur, Maharashtra, India. From a taxi, we can look at the village nightlife on the street in Fardapur, in the vicinity of Ajanta where the world renowned Ajanta Caves, a World Heritage Site, are located. The streets are not paved, have poor lighting, are narrow, and have no sidewalks. Excellent cotton is cultivated in this region, precisely, the white cotton clothing people wear, like a sort of lamp, helps make them visible while walking in the dark.
