Brazilians will exploit their resources regardless of where WE as Americans buy our food. I dont know where you get your data, but adults world wide FREQUENTLY do things they dont WANT to do to feed their children.

As a 15 year old, youre not on board with this idea yet, but youd plow under the last square mile of rain forest to feed your hungry child.

Your parents would do the same for you, even though you think they dont like their self proclaimed anarchist son.

Another question while were at it: Should the whole world go vegan (ending beef production), do you think the Brazilian rain forest would then be left alone, and not leveled for agricultural uses? If we all went vegan, then Brazil would change to be a large exporter of what ever the world market demanded, right?

It is the main resource they have, and they WILL exploit it, regardless of our diet.

Messismervice: apparently TT does not know that the rain forest is being demolished for grazing land and brazil is the largest exporter of beef.
