Her cousin had hung herself that morning because of her man,
She was raped and then fall pregnant, just turned 18,
Her boyfriend bashed her so hard, tryna to kill the baby,
She was in and out of hospital and couldnt take this no more,
She found no-where to run to, no purpose to live for.

Well Im proud of the way she tries to make a better life,

I hope she finds real love like the one with her daughter,
And reaches for a faith that can get things in order,
I know this life is short but for some it is shorter,
Society is a war zone, youth are lambs for the slaughter!
