You may not think my criticism make some people think. As a matter of fact , it does. Some people never spar with others of different school of martial arts. Don't you think so? I like being criticized, although I may not agree with it. Criticism make me think.

  • @georgehsliew Oh you are helping people to think. What they need is to spar a little and learn from their mistakes or if what they are being taught is of any worth. I agree hand form is the least important aspect.

  • @sifuoddjob

According to the tai chi classics (Yang Lu Chan's book), hand form is NOT an important part of tai chi. My criticism on self defense is based on my own opinion.I hope that my opinion will make people think. But unfortunately most people are very defensive.

  • @georgehsliew Thumb sticks out a bit and the fingers splay but nothing too bad! The hook is too low on single whip! I noticed you criticise other masters and thought you should have a little back. Didnt you take vows not to criticise other styles as we do not fully understand?

  • @georgehsliew Oh I am sorry to hear that.

  • @sifuoddjob

I definitely agree with you about my dipping head, but that's my physique problem that I can't correct. As to the splaying fingers, I respectfully disagree with you. Thank you for your opinion.

  • @georgehsliew My pleasure!

  • @sifuoddjob

    Thank you for the comments.

  • Hi try not to dip your head so much as this spoils the suspended head top, should be a straight line through the body. Also you need to stop splaying the fingers, this is bad for self defence. Very nice and soft though so well done .

  • Glad you like it,
