  • @barbiedefined

Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful tips. You are so awesome.

  • i was wondering how you can get the samples from MAC

  • I don't know if Mac offers FREE sample. However, you can go to any MAC store and have your skin matched for the right foundation and/or loose powder. This way you know you are at least getting the right color.

  • Hi D,

One way to prevent purchasing a make up product you can't use (did not work for you) is to find out the stores return policy before purchasing.

The M.A.C Studio Tech compact you purchased is returnable within 14 days of purchasing....with your reciept. If you purchased it from a M.A.C counter or store. If they won't take it back.....sell it on ebay.

    Blessings Lovely

  • Girlfriend,

Thank you for this informative information. Unfortunately for me, I tried the makeup off and on for several weeks before I tried to take it back. By then, I was well past the return policy date. It was a costly lesson to learn. But I promise you going forward, I am going to take your advice. Before I purchase anything over $10 I will know the return policy. It's crazy, I do this all the time with clothes but I never thought to apply this principle when it comes to makeup.

  • I like purchasing drugstore makeup products at CVS, because the have a return policy on beauty products, that if you use it and aren't 100% satisfied, you can return it for full refund. Not to mention CVS tends to have a lot more beauty sales then other drugstores.

  • OMG I hate buying foundation that ends up not being my color! There was one that was pretty close, but when I went back to the store, it wasn't there anymore. I'm afraid they discontinued it. =(

  • I bought a very good twist mabeline eyeliner (midnight master) (about 8 dollars). I loved the feel and look of it, but it only lasted me 2 weeks. I decided to buy a pencil liner, no matter how much I thought it br bought it on sale for the same price as the mabeline one and it has a smudger on the end and has a longer last (oh my goth by annabelle). the usual price is 9 dollars (canadian) but it came down to 7 dollars (canadaian). So, i saved 2$ and got a longer lasting product 4 da same price
