@austinsimpleliving We get bugs of course, I think the worst ones we've had are worms on our dill... "bad" and slugs. What you call rolley polleys are what we call potato bugs... we also for whatever reason have a lot of wood lice (they look like "rolley polley bugs" but don't roll up). Once the bugs really start I'll have to do a similar video... I'll have to learn some of their real names... perhaps you can help me identify some of them!

@jayarab Thanks!

@pinetar100 Squash bugs are huge here. Couldn't find any yet, but they will soon be here.

@jujutubes Lots of creepy crawlies in the garden. You get use to them though. Never had rabbits, but the squirrels and birds are starting to swarm. I don't mind sharing but they will take a bite out of every single thing.

@tuffnutt34 When I first started gardening years ago, I squished every bug I saw. LOL.
We have some flea beetles and caterpillars in our garden. We also have something that burrows in the ground. I can't find the bug but it leaves a mound like a mole, but it is a bug. I am thinking mole cricket, but I have not seen one yet.
Oh, and I love your Hi tech bug killers. I have two pair myself. LOL

@GabbyT2 Could be a beetle of some sort that is burrowing. Yes, the bug killers come in original or accessorized!(with gloves)LOL

@GettingThereGreen Thanks. As the season goes on, the insect population will double or triple.

I have been looking for that Sluggo stuff locally and have resigned myself to the fact that I am going to have to order it on the net. I have tons of roly polys they are awful! We also have slug problems and tobacco horn worms when the weather gets warmer. We also have horrible parsley caterpillars in the fall, they will ruin your parsley in no time. they are black and green and they have a stinky defense when picked (YUCK). Thanks for the primer! Good job. Noreen

@atticus9799 I think the home depot and lowes carry it. Those caterpillars may have been what was on the collards we let go to seed. Thanks, Noreen
