Andrew and Stephen visiting Thunder Hole in Acadia National Park - Mount Desert Island, Bar Harbor, Maine, USA.

As the waves come in, they crash into a hole and make a thunderous noise, thus the name "Thunder Hole".

Audio quality is somewhat poor, but it does the job.

  • I grew up in Bar Harbor in the 1950's and we took visitors to this ,all the time. It is best seen at 1/2 tide (ebb or rising ) for maximum sound effects. It Full High tide it sounds more like a full stomach of Lobsta ,Burp ,lol
