BioWare and LucasArts announced during the EA press conference the new MMO(Massive Multiplayer Online) Star Wars: The Old Republic. Playing the game from the different sides (Empire vs. Republic) will give you two completely different experiences. Each character in the game will also have unique voices, which will make this game possibly the biggest voice-over project in the complete history of gaming.
The trailer is extremely impressive, which features some good light saber dueling between the factions. The previously announced Star Wars MMO has been mentioned to be on the XBox 360 in the past, but nothing was mentioned at the press conference. We will make sure to let you know as soon as we do. But, what we do know for sure is that the game looks absolutely beautiful. Check it out:

@ukahitman Agreed. But he also reminds me a lil bit of Darth Bane. Well at least from my recolection of Darth Bane. And the books, I do believe, takes place in the same era as this game. The Old Republic. Cuz from what I heard this is supposed to be long before the Rise of Revan and Malak.

@Sab0tage09 I actually read and saw a more in-depth look at the game and some of the Character classes....and I can positively say this game will be nothing like WoW. In fact it is estimated that this game is going to pull in more money than WoW and even rumored that many ppl will stop playing WoW just to play this game. I can't wait this game is going to be so fucking Epic xDDDD

@Sab0tage09 People get dumb around MMO's. This game. Will take a dump on WoW. Full dialog or...Deathwing. LucasArts has a massive fanbase and amazing writers. People still play Galaxies. Not trashing WoW. But Blizzard...is a whore.

How is it the same as WoW? Are you stupid? There's been barely any information about this game released so far, so how would you know whether it's even remotely similar to WoW?
