  • Thank you so much for posting these on here !! I am reliving my childhood - I literally am almost in tears - Gobbolino - Grogre the Ogre -Timbertwig - Fords toy cars - It is a really bizarre feeling seeing these again - It is literally transporting me back and opening my memory to things I had long forgotten.

  • Can someone please help me! (warning this has spoilers)

Im trying to find the story about this girl who sends a guy up a mountain to get something for her to prove his love and then he like dies and then she trys to find him and then she dies and her ghost haunts the place gahh i know how silly this may all sound but thats all i remember of it

  • You can also get these on disc at steditions.99k.org

    These stories rock! Especially Gobbolino!

  • I used to love listening and reading these back when my late great aunt used to buy me every one. Had folders of them and totally regret losing track of them.

  • Apparently, the track playing here is called "Childrens Carnival" by Ted Atkin and Alain Feanch

  • These were so so so so so popular in the early-mid 80's, every child wanted them!!!. But only the kids with wealthy parents, or children that were an only child that were ever bought every single issue, but i sure remember some of the stories.

  • Awesome video and reliving my childhood

  • Had every one of them, tape box and all. Long lost and forgotten, sadly. The tune has never left me, though.

When I'm not thinking of something else, I'm thinking of the Story Teller tune! :)
