  • @86223ripped Even if the goal was called back that didn't mean the Sabres would have won the cup. That's a big assumption.

  • Im an Avalanche Fan and Hitchcock and Belfour was the Reason I hated the Stars back in the Day. Now the Stars are in my Respect mode. I was 9 Years old when the Collapse of Roy happend and I thought Colorado will never go to the Stanley Cup. Little did I know that They will win in 2001. Fuck the Wings. I miss the days when the Avs, Wings, Stars and Devils ruled the NHL.

  • @86223ripped The sabres would not have won the cup even if they had disallowed the goal

  • @Moquin1989 I agree with you. I am a Dallas fan and the Stars were the team I grew up watching in their glory days. I was too young to follow the Cowboys of the 90's so following the Stars, I grew to think that the Avs and Devils were the worst thing to hit the block.

  • @porkolicious Well, I doubt that Roy has many pleasant memories of 1989 Final when he gave up 3 goals on 18 shots as Calgary clinched Cup in Game 6 at Montreal Forum or 1st round of 1994 when he allowed 5 goals in Game 7 at Boston or 1st round of 1998 versus Edmonton when he surrendered 4 goals on 17 shots in Game 7 on home ice or the 3-2 losses in Games 5, 6, & 7 to Minnesota in 1st round of 2003 that sent him into retirement. He left the game with 4 Cups but had chance for more.

  • I had been to countless events at Reunion Arena. By far the loudest it has ever been in that building was the last minute of that game. It sounded like white noise. That game meant so much for Dallas. Fans were lighting up cigars in the seats, security guards were taking puffs with them, it was by far the best thing that ever happened in that crappy little building. I miss that building.
