Too busy - Climax Jazz Band 1996

This clip is from our second trip to Japan. It was shortly before I left the band to move to British Columbia. I had been with them for 25 years.
Bassist Chris Daniels does the vocal. In our frontline we had former Dutchman Pieter Meijers on clarinet, former Brit Len Gosling on trombone, me (Bob Erwig, originally from Holland as well) on cornet.
Especially for these concerts professional pianist
Randy Morris came in from Florida's Disney world, where he is a staff musician. Randy also plays a fine trumpet and here he just jumps in and gives a hot one away. For me nothing more to do then to keep on chording on that huge grand piano. My youth buddy from Holland, of course originally as well, Jack Vincken plays a powerful banjo and our token Canadian, Jamie Aug is our very young master drummer.
p.s I had posted this clip before and obviouly lost it. Totally forgotten until a youtube message from Bob de Boer from Holland to remind me. Thank you Bob!

Oh Bob, that was my dad's favorite thing to say! And so true....SUCH IS LIFE....and I am looking 'passionately' to my next half!!!! You? We are coming north to wineries in the spring (not fall) next year. I will stop by to share a bottle of good reserve Cab or the like - Promise. Vic and ladies I attend to will likely be doing their mud masks again! Frightening! LOL. Those are actually fun and feel good - I can be a good sport you know. Your Friend, Ran
