Very good teaching. Bob uses hymns in his videos because of copyright issues. Simple as that.

You can need to take a load off... You're taking this guy wrong. Hw likes many types of christian music. He's just using hymns as an example. he doesnt believe in hymns alone. LOOK AT ALL HIS VIDEOS then u will understand.

It always amazing me how those who broach this subject always make hymns the object, and everything other musical form subject, all the while speaking subjectively - lol. I am sure that when Paul told us to speak in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to one another, making melody in our hearts to the Lord, that he foreknew that one day we would need to discard everything but the hymns... what a great idea!! Canonize the hymns like the bible, and count the rest a refuse...
