  • Ha. Most definitely a fake. Or else this has the smallest air intake gas turbine in the world!

  • Not a fake, it is a small gas turbine, as I was building the car everyone said the engine would be too small, but it ran fine,

in fact the car has 11,300 street driven miles on it.

  • You are all fucktards. This guys had the knowledge and skill to operate and maintain a jet turbine engine, which none of you have. THEN, he installed it, IN A CAR, which none of you could do. You all barely have the ability to spell poorly and look stupid on the internet. Go do something useful.

  • You have a jet powered CRX and the video you post up is you going from your driveway to a stop sign doing20KMH??? LMAO nice one buddy cool shit.Sweet vid.

  • what kind of paperwork do you have to do with the state? like you know, dmv, emissions, etc.

  • LOL wow someone didnt hold a vacuum towards the mic of the camera, usually a turbine accelerates to gain speed, this sucking sound was constant....FAKKKEEEEEEE -__-

  • if you don't mind, id like to know what type of honda crx this is and the name of the rims.. i absolutely love how this car looks. amazing!!

  • @thejohnnybob at the speed he was going, i doubt you would hear the doppler effect from any engine

  • How does the reverse work?

  • @rorybz Doppler Effect takes longer to become noticeable with a turbine engine due to the amount of noise the engines put out. Go out to an airport one afternoon without hearing protection, and report back with how much Doppler Effect you can pick up when a big jet taxis by 50ft away from you.

  • @mellowdalyricist That's not a JET engine. It's a GAS TURBINE engine. This particular turbine engine was an APU (Auxilliary Power Unit) from a big jet. Turbine engines do have accessory gear boxes, and you can run a transmission off of one. How else would helicopters run on turbine engines? In the industry we call them turboshafts. Because the power turbine turns a shaft that protrudes from the compressor section typically, and that drives a transmission. It's not rocket science.

  • @mellowdalyricist He might have a hydrostatic hooked up like a lawn mower that you don't have to switch gears to move back and forth.

  • one thing no one thought about.. jet engines dont have transmissions, so how in the world would it reverse -__- !!

  • @saschug but i do not see the engine nor its exhaust. youve seen this in person? i assume, fill us in Eh? id liek to know hte maker. if its that small hell i can find uses for one. who makes it etc. not saying it didnt happen, just saying id like to see it
