A new Atheist: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6aklZiwsIc http://www.youtube.com/user/AdamLore
Please, atheists of youtube, welcome AdamLore to the Atheist Community, and thank him for his donation to the Atheist Head Quarters. He is an open minded, intelligent, and friendly atheist who just came to reason. This is what we need to see more of.
How much more? 10,000 individuals more for just the first Atheist Head Quarters. How many more?! 4-6 billion more depending on estimates of how long it will take to convince them and how many of them there'll be over the next few years. Frankly, our task is still profound, and though we should celebrate this time with Adam, it is also a time to re-double our efforts.
For me, it is time to get a job. Please, other theists, follow in Adam's footsteps. This kind of behavior can't be rewarded enough. Some of the bad things about this are:
1. It took several videos, worth the investment, but still..
2. When Adam was a theist he was 100 dollars richer than he is now that he is an atheist. That's not what we want, we want rich atheists and we want theists to feel a reward as they leave their myths behind.
3. I discovered that I am not the most polite person to have on your side in an argument, Atheists. :-)
Anyway, send him a note of congratulations, if you don't mind.
I don't think the goal needs to be to get every last of them to knock it off. I'd be pretty content if their numbers were small enough that we could just live in a post-religious world were the occasional madman couldn't shake the delusion that some all-powerful guy was watching over him.

Both of those goals require we move in the same direction at an accelerated pace. I get your distinction, but I don't think we'll see a post-religious world this decade.
Since we can't get most of them to "knock it off", getting every last one of them is beyond our reach as well, but both goals would be progress.
Nice comment.
