@detroitmetro101 I don't think she talking about camden punk but rather "j-punk" which is more visual kei inspired and has a certain level of cuteness thrown in. Like it's not odd to see a j-punk wearing bunny or cat ears, hot pink and stuffed animal bags. This kind of style is also popular in america now, with the scene/emo kids and hot topic, but visual kei has been around for longer than the scene/emo trend.
Japan often takes other styles and puts their own unique twist on them.
