its 2+ if your writing the ion charge and the just 2 if your showing the number of elements
-
When you write ions, is it +2 or 2+, I always have gotten confused with that.. 2+ is for oxidation numbers right? So +2 is just a charge.. I think.

@jonathan599870 man, are you fuckin kidding me? I'm lucky if i get a 60 on this. Lmao.
-
@jonathan599870 dang i have a 75% which is way below whats good for me
-
@whitwellhigh yea thanks i have a 94% in my chemistry class and its getting harder each time.
-
Wow this helped alot, thank you so much!

Thank you this helped a lot
You made it seem so much easier than my prof.

when you wrote ClO3, how did you get the simplified number 3 charge for chlorate???
ItsAlthea 1 year ago
@ItsAlthea - the three is not a charge on Chlorate.....the charge on it is....a negative 1......Chlorate is ClO3 with a charge of -1 or in chemistry 1-........does that help....look on my website for my periodic table sheet...all the polyatomic ions are on the back of it :)
