To think that there was once a time when actual music was popular. Pop music has gone down the shitter.
I hope and pray every day that somebody will get up on stage and rock it out again. And, no, I don't mean a fucking ancient rock reunion group or anything like that. We need to keep rock music alive. What's wrong with the youth today?

Yes he was.
England at this time was unmatched for Rock Bands. From the other side of the pond I could just watch and revel in the genius that was springing up from behind every verge.
In the US you would to the local Record Shop and every freaking week there was a new 7" of brilliance arriving from England.
This lasted from 1977 to 1982 or abouts.
