  • Too bad about the sound. What was the deal with this guy? So much talent. Was there an attitude issue? Seemed to have had everything going for him. Where are they now?

  • @72911RS look up Thornley. He's still making tremendous music and on the verge of reuniting with his old band mates. Mass popularity doesn't seem to be in the cards, but the amazing music continues.

  • Whats up with the 685 sound effects?

  • @funlivelife

    What are 685 sound effects?

  • Fall Through the Cracks, Blown Wide Open and ImmigrantSong2 are all from this show.

  • Holy s*** people, this is just an example of one of the best modern rock bands that ever played...and got LITTLE TO NO play. I love all of these guys' songs. Excellent, excellent rock - very emotional and driven and just exactly what a 20-something post-grunge bastard like me needs!!!

  • I cant take it anymore!!!! HOW CAN ONE MAN BE SO GOOD AT MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @72911RS I agree with you, I am beyond sad that this guy didn't make it. It makes extremely pessimistic about the future of music. In what kind of tone-deaf monster's hands is the music nowadays? :'(

  • I love the fact that he doesn't used a pick :) it's all fingers

  • @72911RS Good question. The short answer? Being the best hard rock band to come out after say '95 is dubious timing. No one was listening anymore, and the bands had already been established. At that point if you aren't a critical darling you had better have good management and be think about your business end - Thornley didn't. Why in the world they didn't tour Australia (a rock loving country) or Europe is a damn shame.

  • @betbuk thanks for the uploads buk - your channel has become my favourite. Ian hasn't lost any skill with singing or guitar. Good to see some recent youtube videos with Brian on board. When I saw Slash recently, I looked on the net to see Dave was the touring bass player for a short while there, a shame he was replaced. I can only hope he and Forrest make music again with Ian and Brian . Anyway, I think you once sent me this concert on disc, along with other music. Thanks for then, and now. :)

  • Saw them perform this live at The Warehouse in Toronto in 1996, its on their 1st album and cassette demo, but to experience this song live, something I will never forget

  • @Alientank grooveshark has Overemphasizing
