  • Oh thats great advice....if you don't want to get punched in the face then move your head. These are not techniques but strategies that are geared for stalling....the fact is you cannot avoid guard in jiu jitsu its 80% of the game. Avoiding something is not learning how to defeat it.

  • @123rustyd our goal is to defeat. you dont beat tyson by boxing inside so you can say you are better there, you jab and stay outside.

  • @123rustyd not stalling, leo used stagger stance to bull pass when he passed eddies guard, was that stalling?

  • Awesome techniques Ken very practical common sense basically. Expect to be flammed by alot of 10th Planet JJers who think they're the best.

  • @chavamma Bro, the best people in grappling are the people fighting in adcc and bjj worlds, period. Like marcelo (gi/nogi champ) mendes bros (same) leo v. (same) , roger (same) xande (same) etc, etc., etc.

  • I'm a big fan of Gracie BJJ & 10th Planet JJ, & Russian Sambo, but I'll keep an open mind. I'll watch this, practice it, and next time I'm @ class rolling, I'll try this. If it works, I'll keep it. If I can't make it work for me, I'll discard it. As a great instructor of mine once said, "No Egos, Attitudes, or Politics."

  • No it wasnt. After thinking about your video some more the techniques are not for stalling. I guess I was a little miffed at the title as these techniques really don't have anything to do with rubber guard but just passing or avoiding a good guard player in general. I am a 10th planet student.

  • Thanks!! Now I can win the Black Belt Worlds!!

  • thats pretty teh deadly! lol Seagal knows all teh deadly techniques! lol keep up the good work ken.. me and you might not see eye to eye and some things but I respect what youre doing. Party on..

  • @chavamma hahaha

  • Strange how the simplest of things can make the most difference.

  • @chavamma I'm not 10th Planet, but lostazcause speaks the truth. From what I have seen the 10p guys don't have a problem with someone showing a counter. They don't like when someone shows a counter and in the process does the 10p technique poorly. In those cases most of the time the counter would not come close to working if the 10P technique was properly done.
