the Prophet (saw) said any innovation to this religion is haram. this means that anything new added to this relgion after his death is deviant, its not part of islam. AllAH (swt) says in the Qur'an 'this day have I perfected your relgion for you' (Al-Ma'idah 5:3) Do shiites believe that u can imrpove that which ALLAH (swt) has perfected. SubhanALLAH. All i ask is that u think before its too late.

This is not bida, it was taught to us by the 12th Imam himself, and it is a beautiful supplication to be recited after every prayer. I have questioned my belief, and have found that the Islam of the Ahlulbayt holds all the answers, you my brother, need to question your belief

Haters will be barred from peace in this world and the next world. Hating is violation of Islam. To hurt any human being other than self defense is without culture and below the level of an educated human being. Salam MJMetin, Do you have any evidence of what you're saying such as Taraweeh is a bida'a. If you research what Taraweeh was you can see clearly that from a Sunni Perspective it was practiced by the prophet, and the hadeeth is clearly in the sahihein.

if any innovation is haram then please explain why the morning Azaan is included with As-salaato khairumminan nawm which was not there at the time of Prophet?

we believe this kind of false acquisitions should not be done. Secondly Please do not accuse each other in such a public site where enemies of Islam can take advantage of. Please research and find out more about the Jaffery School of Thought which is recognised as Valid and authentic by Sunni brothers in faith. May Allah guide you to the right path.

excuse me but DU'A is not innovation! you make your own du'a don't you? what irritates me is when people say BASE-MINDED things to attack others when they don't even get their facts straight. muslims always talk about non-muslims always prejudging Islam when they don't even study from REAL Islamic sources. well unfortunately Sunnis do the same thing. They always want to attack, when they don't even take the time to really study from real Shia sources for themselve.

If every innovation is haram, then what about the tarawih prayers that the Sunnis attend in the mosques althogether. this was not practised in the prophets (saws) lifetime...but was introduced by the first kalifah AbuBakr(a.s)
