http://www.kintera.org/hrw_stop_expanded_us_military_role?msource=YTndaa Provisions of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) would allow the government to hold terrorism suspects indefinitely without any real ability to challenge their detention. They should instead be charged and tried in federal court.

Contact your representatives and demand they reject these detention provisions -- provisions that don't reflect American values.

  • Can't they already do this? My friend was arrested for stealing a 3 dollar sandwich, and spent 6 months in county prison, because his trial kept being postponed. They find reasons to suspend you in purgatory until they can put you away forever. This country is so sick, this should be the least of our worries... a commitment to liberty and justice? Maybe in literature, but in our actions? Hardly. This country is appalling.

  • America has a history of *paying lip service* to liberty and justice.

  • Indefenite detention is unconstitutional

  • I live in NY State

  • @watertight53 I agree with you

  • @DukeofAnarchy You got it!

  • Well the bill passed. Now its time for all the people to petition their governors to secede. If all 50 states seceded we could then reunite, elect officials for and by the people, restore the constitution, appoint justices who wiL uphold the constitution, and throw out the junk like the dea atf ect.

  • @watertight53 Yes, they are already doing it. This law would just make it legal.

  • Didn't ONN cover this issue a month ago?

  • Excellent video - good examples. Hope it works.
