Greenroof - Solar energy, rainwater harvesting and grey water use in Bangalore,India :)

As the video shows you can live and die on a roof :) Grow your food (rice,vegetables and banana), harvest rain for water,cook your food in the solar box cooker, use the ecosan, use the fertilizer so generated for the rice etc etc. Now how does one get salt or make it on the roof?
