Can he eeesse iissse eeeese issse, does he have my charm? :P

  • I didn't have enough characters to add this in my previous comment...

Ray re-recorded this song in 1995 for inclusion in his movie, GET SERIOUS. This 1995 re-recording is what's mostly available but I'm sure the 1986 original can be tracked down, too.

GET SERIOUS was a direct-to-home video movie which ran 110 minutes in length...almost 2 hours...filled with spoken dialogue and newly filmed music videos including one for this song. He did a limited animation music video of this song, too.

  • Here's some background on this song...

This song originated in 1986 on a comedy album he did called "Surely You Joust". The original studio version is also found on 1987's "Greatest Hits, Volume Two". This recording is from a performance in 1992 at his now closed Branson, Missouri theater. It appeared in video form on a 1993 VHS home video called RAY STEVENS LIVE, which was transferred to CD by Curb Records in 1995. There's a 1986 performance currently on You Tube of this song as well.

  • Great song Ray Stevens is a great artists

  • this is a great song, do you have the non live version that was on the tape back in the day?

  • Could you upload Sex symbols from this one? I loved that version of it:)
