I am going to say this again. EFI-X is NOT an option anymore.

Again, do NOT build a "Mac" with EFi-X in the equation.

Again. AVOID this product. AVOID EFi-X.

Again. SCREW EFI-X.

Google Chameleon or Boot-132. Go buy a $15 USB stick, and go to town.

EFI-X is just open-source code with a HUGE pricetag.

I will admit that I was had too. I fell for it. I was a schmuck as well. But DO NOT buy the EFI-X. PERIOD. They are a sham!

I'm not really caring... Now, if Apple wants to send me a Cease and Desist, they can go for it. I will turn and run.  But to be honest, I'm not to worried...

Ok everyone. It is true, the EFI-X device IS a farce. There are numerous posts and articles on-line that open the device up, display it's "Mystical" internals, and compare vanilla XP installs to installs using this dongle and other open-source solutions.

The shocker?

This dongle is not magical, it doesn't use all the special materials they list. In fact, the magical pieces consist primarily of hardware encryption that hides open-source kexts and other open-source code...

@loubano its not a scam, scamming means to cheat or to trick, but the product does exactly what it says it does, it doesnt give you a virus or steals your information, it just does what it says, and the prices of efix went wayyy down.

Hey, I wondering if you could answer a question for me. If you where just to copy the hardware that apple use, say copy the iMac motherboard, graphics card etc is that a way to get everything to work?
