I just watched him do this shot 3-4 times in the semi-finals and finals of the Comfort Inn Open 2011. He did it to beat Palmer 3-0 and lose to Selby 3-1.
@ryanjagessar well he has already done it a few times over the past few weeks in pro matches. Check out the highlights from Punj Lloyd PSA Masters 2010
This shot is absolutely ridiculous. I can't imagine it being hit in a real professional match as you have to get a blow down the middle at a slowish pace to line it up. Hisham still got mad skills though, such a pity that he is a head case and can't put it all together. He might be in the top 10 with his brother.
Ramy plays a lot of backhand nicks, especially off the serve, but he's doing it with a normal backhand volley, not a reverse backhand to forehand volley (mizuki). You might see Ramy do this in an exhibition match or in a real match when he's 10-0 up and in a playful mood, but the mizuki shot is not something you should try in a real match, even if you are the most technical player in the world.
@funlovingmonkey
I think it can be deceptive in fooling you to think its a cross court volley nick

@Court9Squash who named it "the nick"?

Ha. I'd love to see that shot in a match rolling out of the nick. Who named it "The Mizuki"?!

In the mid 90s Canada's Yasir Butt (Sam's son) did this shot in several matches that I watched.
