I worked with Nate Pruitt for several months back in 1976 in a club in San Jose. I'm a keyboardist, and he was not only singing, but also playing drums at the time. Great to see that he's still at it, and sounding good as ever.
I had the opportunity to learn from these two cats several years back and they are, as we say in spanish, "lo maximo." They're just two of the nicest and most genuine guys you're ever gonna meet! And if you live in the Bay Area and consider yourself to be a "serious vocalist," then do WHATEVER YOU CAN to sign up for singing lessons with Nate! David Castle, Las Vegas
Nate and Rick are great musicians...Nate always soulful and swinging...and Rick the perfect accompanist who supports Nate brilliantly and solos with great feeling.
