  • Hey man, pretty nice. Here are your final scoring results:

    * Clarke Study Quote: I actually chuckled. +1 point for style and comedy

    * Lakers Shirt: I'm from Boston, so you get -86 points for for rotting for a team that has Lamar Odom and Ron "peace whatever his name is now", and Kobe "I screwed some crazy chick and got caught" on their roster.

If you had quoted the Clarke Study in F#, and made it fit somehow into your solo, it would have earned you +45.3 points

  • @WhatTheFlyinFudge

Whoa! I am no Lakers fan. I am no Celtic fan either.. Hate to bust your bubble on that on.

Wait until I post the Clarke Study Clip. I will play it through all 12 keys while circular breathing. But for now check out what i did on a previous clip. Search on you tube "amazing musician solves" and give me your score!!!

  • Not bad playing man. I like your sound and am impressed with your technique. I loved the Basie "Corner Pocket" quote at the beginning, and the Clarke quote was cool. I would say work on your feel on the head though, it sounds kinda rickety. Also, I think you could use some more melody in your solo instead of so many fast notes. Fast is great, but a little more variety would be really good. Have you taken this tune apart chordally? I think doing that would really help your change playing.

  • Thanks for your comments. Do you play?

  • just checked them out sure looks the same as the ones on ebay if so how does it play?

  • The one I play is a Martin Committee, Large bore with engraved design. It plays fine for me. If you can fine one at a music shop try it out to see if you like it. Amati makes cheaper colored horns.
