My 935 was made 9/6/06 and it cost me $400 back then and i cant count how many shells i shot in it and i got a 835 uti mag the 1st month thay came out $235 but this 935 sure takes the recoil out of them 3 1/2 inch mags and i love it haveing the backbore barrel.Ive taken many deer up to 75 yards with buckshot and full choke and im glad my 835 chokes will fit the 935.Nice vid and why spent a grand for other guns when this mossberg will do the samething.Take care

I recommend completely stripping down this gun and cleaning all the cosmoline out before shooting it. Put a few boxes of shells through it and it's a wonderful ducker. I have a Browning Gold that sits in the gun safe and this is my go-to gun because I won't be heartbroken if it gets a few scratches out in the blind. Good gun!

Awesome review, very well done! I also own a 935 (black synthetic/matte finish), and I have also had no issues with cycling 1 1/8th oz 2 3/4" shells. I've also had no issues (as of yet) with the forearm retainer, although I wish Mossberg would switch that to metal instead of plastic (if cost and weight are an issue, they could just use aluminum). I had a choice between buying this gun and an SX3, and for what the SX3 cost at the gun shop I could have bought two 935s! VERY happy with this gun.
