The Original VMA routine. This includes the stand-in for Britney and is what the VMA performance "should" have looked like.....

  • The dance was pretty good but it was not Brit's style. She is more urban than dis.

  • Was "Me Against the Music" was urban? Nope. Was "Toxic" urban? Nope. This might not have been Britney's style...but I wouldn't say her style, whatever it is...is urban.

  • First of all I was not talking about her music. Her music is not urban like u said "Toxic, me against the music, etc" was pop music. I was talkin about her ""DANCING"". Britney's types of dance are usually urban style like hip-hop. except for Slave 4 u. Britney usually has black choreographers to make a dance 4 her music except 4 Wade. Her freestly dance is most def urban as she says hip-hop is her fav style.

  • I beg to differ. In terms of race...Tina Landon was not black....RJ Durell was not black,Brian Friedman not black,Kevin Tancharoen....not black. Darrin Henson....yep. Columbus Short......yep. However, even the choreography from Henson and Short wasn't exactly urban...definitely not compared to a lot their other work.

  • OK!! Even if most of her choreographers were white they still had hip-hop style. I'm really trying to say is that this routine is really good but even if Brit nailed it it still would seem like the dance was not her style. Brit's performances are usually explosive. And she does lots of movements and breaks out in the middle of the songs with intense routines. This routine is more cool and calm and sassy. Look at Slave 4 u, toxic(at the onyx hotel),overprotected etc. I'm just sayin.

  • I see your point and I will agree with u to an extent :) This was a routine that Britney did not like whether its stylistics, dynamics or what...she wasn't feeling it and we can see it in her body language and the VMA performance. Lets hope her next performance/rotuine brings back that old fire we love.

  • belissima apresentaçao...

melhor do que a propia !

  • the routine was boring and too simple. at least this girl put some effort into it and acted like she wanted to be there. britney just sluggishly walked around, almost like she was confused about what she was supposed to be doing

  • the coreo is awesome like i neer seen before, britney owes us an!! she actually can do it only to take off the shock of that performance

in a video clip or wathever.

  • @andthenwekiss21 You're kidding, right?

  • Although Britney wasnt very good, she still did it better than this...

  • @gymns411 or she just wasnt good.

  • I'm sorry, but I really am not feeling this choreography. Personally, I wouldn't have enjoyed the performance with this choreography even if Britney had been at her best. I'm not making excuses for her, she did mess up, but this routine is boring to begin with in my opinion.

  • ofcourse this was flawless, most easy dance number ever! the diference between the girl in the video and britney is that the girl wasn't on extasis during the routine

  • boring routine anyways she was destined to underwhelm no matter what

  • all the stepping up and down levels and walking around is a bit stilted... i was surprised by those moves, not very dynamic.
