Lezlie a SOLID GOLD DANCER for about 1 season started on Solid Gold at the end of season 4 when Chelsea left and continued on through most of season 5. Lezlie has a style of dancing that was both sexy AND fun to watch.

@jamessmedley82 Considering Lezlie came on the show 3 years AFTER Andy left, I highly doubt it. And while I'm sure his rep with the ladies was founded somewhere in reality, these women worked with the man at the height of his drug addiction. I doubt they saw the glamorous side of Andy on a regular basis. And at this point, there's no reason to dish dirt Mr; Gibb like that, let him rest in peace.

Point well taken. Say, could you do me a favour? On the video entitled "Best Of Solid Golid: Season 5 - Vol 1", there is a dark haired girl who is dancing between two male dancers at about 0:25 - 0:31 sec. Do you know her name? She's my favourite.

Lezlie has to be one of my favorite all time dancers of Solid Gold for two reasons. First, her appearance...sweet, then sexy, then innocent, then exotic, ect. For me, she was like some of the lady dancers (Deborah, Pam comes to mind) who could change their look from one moment to the next depending on the song. Second, her dancing was very incredible!!! She did not show the gymnastics ability like Kahea and Nicole but she was incredible all around...sophisticated, athletic, & charming!!!

Well I don't think she was any older than Darcel - and I rather liked her style. Personality has a lot to with it not just dance movement - some others were way more boring or just too snotty in my opinion. I've always said Tony might not have been the most technically precise dancer, but he was one of my favorites because there was a naturalness to his style and a great personality that shined through. There are others who think Chelsea was the clunky stiff one. Just my opinion.

You've got to be kidding. Lezlie was not as flexible as the others. She always looked a bit stiff and older. She lasted the right amount of time.

I think most would agree with that scenario. Let's not forget Eileen who replaced Gayle. But since Lezlie came on in Season 4 taking Chelsea's place, it's a safe bet she was a replacement for Helene's spot. And already in the line-up when in Season 5 Jamilah re-appeared after Darcel's 1st departure.
