I am not related, I manage a bar in Manchester NH and tried booking him in 2005 but couldn't, I kept in touch via email and finaly did book them (ESB)this July (2006). that is how I met him, the band and his parents. I'll tell you this Eric can play with the best of them literately it was the most amazing performance I have ever seen, and I;ve seen some greats in my time.

I love the blues and this Stormy Monday is spot on. You have been in contact with my son niall and I would like him to play and sing the blues like you. He likes Gary Moore type blues amongst others. Do you listen and copy or have proper lessons? Anyway awesome stuff at any age.

Again, I am not Eric Steckel, I can't come close to playing like Eric does, not even in my dreams. As for Eric having proper lessons, I think that playing came more naturally to him than actually having to learn anything. If your son sends me a copy of his CD, I will send in return a copy of "Havana" Eric's most recent CD release. It costs $14.25 but if you prefer I will send you money instead.

Actually banditt11, his voice has matured considerably. Go to cdbaby.com and you can hear the first 2 minutes on the Havana CD (His latest release. You gotta remember he is only like 12 here, he is now 16.
