The U.S. Army has just ordered Stryker trucks to not be driven over 35 mph so their wheels won't break off.

The actual U.S. Army Safety Of Use Memorandum (SOUM) is posted on this video. You can't say you "didn't get the memo". Its posted also on the web page below:

The Stryker is a total piece of crap.

We should get rid of all of them we have wasted several $$BILLIONS on and upgrade our far superior M113 Gavin tracks to be our light infantry air-transportable, closed terrain, amphibious, cross-country mobility platforms. A decade of the wheeled Army road-bound fiasco is enough; time to come to our senses and relearn what RIGHT LOOKS LIKE.

  • The irony of this is incredible, considering that the wheel assembly is the ONLY part of the vehicle actually made in the United States --- the Strykers are essentially manufactured entirely in Canada, then shipped via railroad to the US, where the wheels are bolted on.

  • Another reason all this fear of them rounding up people etc..hell their equipment dosen't even work, and most ALL military personel are good people. God bless them for their service under these chickenhawk aholes. Peace!

  • That means removing the "slat" armor once it reaches the designated mileage to bring it back to it's designed weight?
