For those of us who believe in a higher intelligence, how do we really know that there is one? For those of us who are certain there is one, how do we really know that our view of who he is, is even close to being accurate? In this 1 hour podcast (divided into 7 parts) we will explore the mechanics of modern science, astronomy and cosmology and physics to determine the existence of a hyper-dimensional creator and then use those same scientific discoveries to narrow down which human written manuscript might be a message to the Earth from the Creator Himself.

The reason we have a Bible is because the Catholic Church compiled its canon of books out of HUNDREDS of manuscripts. The Church is THE religion that God gave us through Jesus Christ, from whom its practices are founded upon. To say that God hates religion is to deny the mission that Christ commited His Church to carry on. Such commitment includes a very profound and meaningful "religious ritual" : The Eucharist (Luke 22:19, 1 Corinthians 11:24 etc.)

@jorgediego Listen to the entire series before making statements such as this one. The more you understand what religion is all about, and the more you understand the Bible, the more you'll see a clear and striking contrast between the two. And to say the Catholic Church compiled the Biblical canon is to deny easily provable historical reality. In that one statement you deny the existence of the Septuagint and everything that took place after the reformation.  Please.

@jorgediego Religion is a man made way to try to reach God. A relationship with God is accepting Jesus, and ONly Jesus as a personal savior. John 14:6.

You cannot reach God, or impress God with repetitive rituals or customs. Ephesians 2:8, is not by works, but by Faith. Religion is Satan way of confusing the truth. Follow Christ, and Christ only.

No. While the Catholic "church" was seeking to control the world through religion, true Christians were running for their lives from the Catholic holocaust that ran for centuries. The King James Bible was given & distributed IN SPITE of Catholicism.

The Catholic empire murdered and killed Christians (like 50 million) who had a Bible in their house during the Middle ages. Because they refused to bow their knees to popes or idols, nor allowed them to read the Bible.

@Huttate1 Natural selection is a fact (and it was pioneered by creationists like Wallace, Blyth and John Wilkins LONG before Darwin). Universal common descent is no more a fact than spontaneous generation was a fact even though taught for 1500 years. It has some confirmed predictions, true..so did spontaneous generation. Predictions for both were only extremely indirect..and really far from what was claimed. Creation in most areas has more evidence than evolution. See my 4 creation playlists.

A well thought out statement in part. Only evolution is based on solid science that provides provable predictions. That is a fact.

We are therefore left with a supernatural force creating a universe from which life on this [and other?] planets would evolve - or not.

I would argue that there is nothing that we know or have learnt using the scientific method that would indicate there is any supernatural force at play.

I would then argue, why manufacture a supernatural being.
