  • See that? Michael ain't making any excuses. That is because he is a man of integrity. He took a little well deserved chill time after basically raping the olympics. Now he knows what he has to do. Rock on Michael Phelps.

  • Why didn't anybody complain at the Olympics? Than Paul Biederman swum in a Nike jammer, and still managed to make it to the finals. So why wasn't anybody complaining about beaten by suits.

  • Wit my statement, I meant that the swimmers who had an advantage in Beijing AND AT THAT TIME FOUND IT NORMAL, had to stop crying in Rome. I do think these suits make unfair differences.

  • @Jamesc457 I do think it was right to ban them. Just because it turned swimming into an expensive sport. I mean, at the World-top level, everybody will be able to buy them (however you can see that it can lead to unfair differences). But at semi-proffesional and amateur levels, not everybody will have the money to buy it, making that talent will easier quit with swimming due to financial problems. This will make swimming a smaller sport.

  • @kidsofjokes well, ok than, I'm sorry. But my point was that it was a textile suit which was severely slower than the LZR.

  • @yourvideoisgay1231 at the olympics, he was bound to sponsors, just like Michael Phelps in 2009. But both of them could have chosed to break the contract but didn't. The difference between a textile Nike suit and a LZR is bigger than between a LZR and a Jaked/Adidas. So people should have complained more in Beijing than in Rome, but they didn't just because in Rome Michael Phelps lost. That doesn't make sense.

  • @Rac1ng4Live cause it really got out of hand at worlds and biederman chose to wear that nike jammer

  • @Rac1ng4Live It's true all the major swimmers were wearing the lzr racer which was the best suit and then a better suit comes along and they start crying about it. If bob bowman had never of said that michael wouldn't swim because he was beaten in a better suit then they'd never of been banned I think they were fine people were allowed to wear them and if they didn't then they cose not too. It's no diffrn't to nature some people are taller others are shorter, people have advantages others don't.

  • Oh who cares!!!! The poor guy has performed well in all his other races. He competed in so many different events that it takes its toll. Sometimes, such things aren't that possible and like he said he had already competed in a 200m butterfly race that same night. Anyone who is a swimmer will understand the strain and difficulty that comes from swimming butterfly, it's hard!! The German swimmer, probably only trains for the 400m and 200m, he was fresh.

  • Statistics don't lie...the suits matter, at just about every distance...lets just see what history holds up for all of us to see. We really won't know anything until these guys get back on the world stage in 2012 without the suits.

  • @kidsofjokes Swimmers do improve through hard work. Biedermann's 400 showed a very well conditioned athlete who used smart racing strategy. But's let's see how he does now that the suits are all on the same level.

  • @Rac1ng4Live

bidermann swam in adidas. not nike
