@ILoveWhipper we are not jumping at night we were jumping at 4:30 in the afternoon in a riding lesson we can't help it if our lesson happens to be in the dark in the winter. They have flood lights and the horses are all fine.

but yes it;s hard for the horsse to ajust from light to dark
they just can't do it maybe thats why he was refusing not because the jump is scary !

@Hoovesonmyheart34 We don't exactly have a choice when it is winter in england and your horse riding lesson is at 4:30.

@dabyg you could ride indoors (I) or get an earlier time..it's dangerous to jump in the dark, flood lights or not

@fifi101scmscheer No this is in a riding lesson it was perfectly safe our instructor thought so and the younger less experienced children were in the indoor school.
