Shanghai: videosnaps of my 5-day visit in June 2010. Backing tracks are Gorillaz-El Manana, Pendulum-9,000 miles, Poker Pets-Lovin' you [Raul Rincon remix]. Daylight footage is shown first, followed by cool night-time scenes from 7:55. Sights of Shanghai [in approx order] include The French Quarter or French Concession, The Bund, the Peace Hotel, the HSBC building [ceiling and bronze lions], Jing'an Temple, People's Square, Taikang Road trendy area, M50 contemporary art area, Shanghai Urban Planning Centre building, Shanghai Grand Theatre, Shanghai Museum [and 2 artworks], Pudong district, Jinmao Tower, Shanghai World Financial Centre [and the view from it's very lofty public viewing levels], East Nanjing Road, Din Tai Fung restaurant [making & serving xiao long bao], China Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo, the expo coach-park, Hongqiao Pearl City, the flower market, Plaza 66, Shanghai Exhibition Centre, The Bund by night [8:09], Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Pudong and Huangpu river by night, The Westin hotel, driving at night [Yan'an Rd], Amelia Kalman's Shanghai Dolls [cabaret] @ Chinatown [Zhapu road, Hongkou district].
There are plenty of sights not shown here; this may be because i went there on my previous visit, or maybe i'm yet to see them...
