  • Do the welds rust over time?

  • If left open to the elements it will. You should treat the metal with some self etching primer and/or an epoxy primer asap. Go to a good auto paint store, they should be able to recommend some products you should use......

  • What about the Eastwood Rust Encapsulator? I've researched about it and decided to try it out. I used it on my Honda CRX restoration project and didn't work very well. Rust started to pop out after couple of months. Frustrating because rust is like cancer.

  • I have never tried it. I just try to clean and prep the metal before sealing it. If there is impurities on the metal before your seal it then you will most likely have issues later....

  • It should be called Right side quarter panel reskinning xD But it looks like you did an awesome job on that I'm not one to talk I cut out my 68 Chevelle's QP In October and still haven't got around to finishing it.
