Greatest Guitar Hero Video Ever!

THE STORY: In 2007 Riley and I filmed an impromptu home-made music video to Aerosmith's rock classic, "Livin' On The Edge". Months later I would edit, and post this video to YouTube.

Last month, Boston's classic rock radio station, 100.7 WZLX launched a radio contest - the rules: Make a video of your best air-guitar or guitar-hero performance to any Aerosmith song and upload the video to YouTube. The video with the most votes would win. The grand prize? A back-stage meet & greet with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry of Aerosmith, free tickets to their June 16th concert, a copy of the game "Guitar Hero" and a chance to open for Aerosmith - performing Guitar Hero on-stage before the show!

And by now I'm sure you know the rest... we entered that video, and thanks largely in part to your kind votes - we handily won the contest with over 60% of the votes! This video is a short documentary highlighting the adventures of that grand prize victory.

Born in February 1986, Jonathan Paula is a professional YouTuber and creator of the hit web series, "Is It A Good Idea To Microwave This?". In April 2006 he founded Jogwheel Productions, a new media production company that specializes in web video. Jon graduated from Emerson College in 2008 with a degree in Television Production / Radio Broadcasting. He currently lives in Rockingham, NH with his wife Rebecca.

2) That's what they told me in an email youtube sent me - "Earn up to US$20 for each 10,000 views". Just going off that. It could very well be incorrect, but i wouldn't have thought youtube would lie.

3) I was simply stating how much he would have made, had he been signed up with the deal mentioned in point 2). Besides, 6 and 1/2 cents is pretty close to 0 cents.

4) How much have you made? Maybe i should try it... I was thinking of putting some more random sporting videos up

2. I know that with every 10,000 views you can get around $20. so in 2 years, this video has earned around $900.
