  • No need to remap the motor.

If you are a perfectionist you can buy a 'power commander' which allows you to download a map specifically for the after market pipes. This then optimises the torque and power. In practice, the bike to so quick that most mortals would struggle to notice the difference. The bigger gain is probably via the saving in weight vs OEM ehhaust and definitely the sound difference

  • I just purchased the "Fatty pipes" from ebay and they look identical to yours except the baffles. My only problem is that my kickstand hits my pipe and wont let the it come all the way up, how did you fix this problem..I see you still have your stock kickstand.

  • Mine touches the sidestand when up but only a little - so I live with it OK!

  • where can i find these kind of exhaust i cant find them anywhere?

will they fit my 2000 hayabusa

  • They are standard shorty pipes but with Yosh heat proof exhaust stickers!

  • I was wanting to look this up. Do you have a part number or a source to purchase these?

  • No part number - I bought then from E-Bay (the states). You should find them under 'Shorty pipes'

  • is that roal legal

  • @hiewyj Downloading a stock map for a power commander virtually makes the power commander useless. Every motorcycle engine is different, and your location and altitude will make a difference as well. The only way to maximize engine efficiency, longevity, and performance is to get a dyno-tuned map for YOUR bike by a pro.

  • Nice bike! I actually kinda like the white, especially with the red rim stripes. I'm jealous!

  • when the pipe is changed from stock, is it necessary to also remap the motor to optimize the system, or is it just another way for the dealership to make more money from the customer? thank you

  • Very nice, love the pipes and the seat..

  • Would this be a good beginner bike?

  • which model of yoshimura is this?

  • pieknie gada

  • Take that bloody air brake off the back lol
