Iraqi Police join insurgents to ambush US troops (July '07)

Iraqi police, armed and trained by the U.S., have attacked both American soldiers and Iraqi civilians wearing the police uniforms and using the guns WE provided them.

When we are arming and training our own enemies, it's time to get out.

@volcompunksk8r You DO realize this video is from 2007, don't you? Also, violence is down substantially since then. And if Iraq had invaded the United States, how long would it take before you "just quit already"?

@BI30 Uhhhm, It doesn't take rocket science to know that if your people are getting their ass ripped opened you should pull out to avoid more people getting killed, but apparently their leader either has a two digit IQ or he just doesn't give a shit about his own people. And the violence is really down? Well that's nice to know considering I will probably be out there by next year, as a Marine MP...if we even go out on the field.

@volcompunksk8r Note to the "Rocket science"... as compared to the 100 Americans that were being killed each day in July of 2007 when this video was made, to the less than 1 soldier per week dying in Iraq today, *Yes*, the violence is down. As for the "IQ of their leader"... Saddam was not in charge in 2007, and the newly installed government was not directing the insurgency, so they couldn't tell them to "pull out".

@BI30 I read somewhere for every 600 insurgents we kill only 8 of our troops die, due to IED's/Mortars. I don't know if those statistics are exactly correct, but I never heard of 100 American troops dying a week.
