Rachel Maddow takes on Republicans for trashing the economic stimulates bill and then cashing in on the money the bill gives them. She also tells Democrats to stop trying to be bipartisan because Republicans will vote against anything Democrats are voting for.

You don't get it.

The point isnt that its OK or NOT OK to ask for stimulus $.

The point is its NOT OK to bash the other party and tell America in front of the camera, that the stimulus hasnt created any jobs.

Then turn around back home and take credit for the many jobs it created.

Now you can get salty and call her mean & sarcastic for that all you want,

But I think what she said was pretty rational.

She just trashes anyone who does not do as see says. The recent jobs bill (10/2011) the president proposed failed to pass the democrat majority controlled congress. IF I'm understanding you, I think you're missing the point. Its not a matter of preaching to the choir on how "bad" the other side is.

What ppl like RM do may seem trivial but its not. In fact, what she does is very important. Its one thing to report what a politician SAYS theyll do, its another thing to report what they DO. Its important to understand hypocrisy in politics and how its used and how it affects us. She does her homework and reports her butt off.

Nope, sorry. I don't support a central planned economy. The state doesn't need to be the owner and operator of every industry. :)
